يعود وجود الفرنسيسكان حرّاس الأراضي المقدّسة في مدينة طرابلس الى القرن سنة ١٢١٧. أقاموا ديرهم الأوّل في هذه البقعة، وأعيد البناء مع الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٠. رُمّم الدّير سنة ١٩٤٧ وبنيت شرفة فوق الكنيسة. كذلك بنيت مدرسة بقيت الى سنة ٢٠١٤. يقوم الدّير اليوم برسالة في قلب مدينة طرابلس مع كافة أطياف المجتمع المحليّ.The Friary of St Francis of Assisi - El Mina TripoliThe presence of the Franciscains Custodians of the Holy Land in Tripoli goes back to 1217. Their first friary was built on this site, and rebuilt in the current structure in 1860. The building was restored in 1947 and a balcony was added over the church. The friary housed a school that remained open until 2014. Today the friary is a Franciscan mission in the heart of Tripoli working with all the people of the local society.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال الجديدة - بقاع كفرا

هي الكنيسة الرعائيّة الجديدة. بُنيت على سطح الكنيسة القديمة، سنة ١٩٢٥. تجمع بين القديم والحديث. مسقوفة بالقرميد من الخارج، أمّا من الداخل، فسقفها بغداديّ. تتألق الكنيسة سوق واحدة، وتحتوي على رسومات وصُوَر وزخارف ونقوش على جدرانها، وزجاجيّات على شبابيكها.

The New church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The new parish church of Our Lady was built on top of the old one in 1925, and consists of one nave. The walls are lavishly decorated with frescoes mouldings and arabesques. The roof is of local type of decoration called Baghdady. The church also contains beautiful stained glass windows.

تقع كنيسة النبي إيليا للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك في بلدة علما الشعب، وهي جزء من تقليد مسيحي عريق يعود إلى قرون في هذه المنطقة. عُرفت البلدة منذ القرن التاسع عشر بوجود جماعات مسيحية، خصوصًا من الروم الملكيين والمَوارنة، وكانت تضم عدة كنائس صغيرة لخدمة الأهالي. تنتمي الكنيسة إلى الكنيسة الملكية الكاثوليكية ذات الجذور المرتبطة ببطريركية أنطاكية، وتتبع الطقس البيزنطي. وقد كُرِّست للنبي إيليا (مار إلياس)، وهو من أبرز الشخصيات الروحية في المنطقة. تُعدّ الكنيسة اليوم مركزًا دينيًا واجتماعيًا لأبناء الرعية، حيث تُقام فيها الصلوات والاحتفالات الدينية، خاصة عيد مار إلياس في 20 تموز.

كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان الأثريّة - صليما

يعود بناء الكنيسة إلى سنة ١٦٥٨، فمع توافد الموارنة إلى البلدة شرعوا ببناء كنيسة. ساعدهم على بنائها الآباء الكبوشيّون الذين بدؤا رسالتهم في دير مار بطرس في البلدة وجلبوا لإعانة موارنة البلدة معونة ماديّة من الكاردينال ريوشوليو وزير الملك لويس الثالث عشر. سنة ١٦٨٤ كرّس المذبح البطريرك أسطفان الدويهيّ. البناء كناية عن عقدِ مُصالب، يتميّز ببابٍ فخمٍ قدّمه أمراء آل أبي اللمع. تعرضت الكنيسة للتخريب إبّان الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة. ورمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين

St. John the Baptist Ancient Church - Salima

The construction of the church dates back to the year 1658 when the Maronites began to settle in the town and started building a church. The Capuchin fathers, who began their mission at the Monastery of St. Peter in the town, assisted them in its construction. They brought financial assistance from Cardinal Richelieu, the Minister of King Louis XIII, to support the Maronites of the town. In 1684, Patriarch Estephan Douaihy consecrated the altar. The building is in the shape of a crucifix and is distinguished by a magnificent door donated by the Al Abi Al Lamaa family. The church suffered damage during the Lebanese Civil War and was restored in the 1990s.
